Intensive Treatment Programs

Often times, weekly therapy may not be sufficient to help those who struggle with significant mental health concerns. Our team is excited to offer an intensive outpatient treatment program that will support the needs of people who require additional treatment and care. The program utilizes a transdiagnostic treatment protocol, which means it can be utilized by those dealing with a range of disorders or psychological difficulties. These include individuals struggling with anxiety and mood disorders, as well as other related emotional disorders, such as eating disorders.

Our program employs a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) combining elements of mindfulness, cognitive therapy, and behavioral therapy. The overarching goal of our program is to help patients reduce their symptoms through learning new ways of responding to, and coping with, uncomfortable emotional experiences. Our program offers the flexibility of scheduling and the benefit of individualized care. Additionally, our program is offered in multiple formats, including individual and group settings.

The beginning of our intensive program is comprised of an individual evaluation and treatment planning session. New patients will meet with their psychologist for a full evaluation of their presenting concerns, and, following the evaluation, will speak with their psychologist about their individualized treatment plan and be given an overview of what to expect from treatment.

Once treatment begins, patients typically attend the program for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. The total length of the program may vary depending on the needs of each patient, but on average lasts for about 4 to 6 weeks. Our staff has the ability to work around patient’s work and school schedules, ensuring that they can continue to live their lives while receiving the most effective treatment. We offer intensive treatment programs in Delray Beach, FL and also across the United States via teletherapy.
